A taste of traditional France in a tranquil countryside setting with modern comforts. The luxurious beds and elegant modern bathrooms were a delight. The beautiful private grounds were perfect for exploring, with a relaxing poolside area after exploring nearby towns. The welcoming hosts always made us feel at home.
The lack of restaurant facilities was a downside, but the owners gave us great local restaurant recommendations. It was also a bit remote from the nearest village, so a car is necessary.

We were thrilled to be staying in a castle, away from all the noise of the city. the location was serene, surrounded by a large garden and trees. the island in the pond at night was magical, accompanied by some beautiful singing. the service was impeccable, and breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked croissants. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the surroundings.
The pool needed cleaning, and the garden equipment was a bit shabby.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with a beautiful lake and well-maintained gardens. the pool was a lovely facility, and the inclusion of activities like table tennis and swings really added to the experience. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings, with the added bonus of being able to row a boat on the lake. the rooms were nicely decorated, and the wooden floors created a homely feel.
The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. the breakfast choices could have been better for the extra fee.

Spent a wonderful Christmas at an authentic French chateau with charm and elegance. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern and elegant. the large private grounds were perfect for relaxing walks, with a lovely lake and resident swans and ducks. the pool area was fantastic, with plenty of sun loungers to enjoy the afternoon sun. the hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The location of the chateau was a bit remote, requiring a drive to find restaurants and meal options. the nearby village had limited dining choices.
